- justifies us (1 cor 6:11)
- sanctifies us (1 cor 1:2)
- makes us his temples (1 cor 6:19)
- teaches us to pray to the father (gal 4:6)
- prompts us to act so as to bear his fruits (gal 5:22, 25)
- heals the wounds of sin by interiorly renewing us through spiritual transformation (eph 4:23)
- enlightens and strengthens us to live as children of light through all that is good and right and true (eph 5:8, 9)
